Give a listen to the '60s Batman theme song as sung by actual bats!

Let's see you dance the Batusi to this one. 

The '60s Batman theme is pretty iconic (and ridiculous). But you know one thing that theme has never been? Sung by bats. Well not anymore, commissioner! Thanks to Ulrich Seidel (who arranged the piece) you can now revel in the dulcet tones of actual bat crooning.

Hearing it is cool, but, as with all science, it's the how that's the most fun and exciting part.

Bats produce sounds that are not audible to human ears. First these ultrasounds were digitally reduced to frequencies that are audible. Then the different batsounds were assigned different keys on a keyboard.
