The CW has decided they want more Supernatural and Nikita. The network has brought the episode order for both series from 22 to 23 episodes for the new fall season. Two additional episodes of Gossip Girl and 90210 have also been ordered for their seasons, bringing their orders up from 22 to 24.
There were no big surprises as the CW announced its new fall 2011-2012 television schedule this morning, adding the new witch drama The Secret Circle to Thursdays before The Vampire Diaries and moving Nikita to Fridays before Supernatural.
The end is near for several shows as they approach their season finales with stakes-raising episodes. The first to go is Fringe which heads off into the sunset with a time-traveling finale which promises to make us cry as it kills off one of our favorite characters.
