TV THIS WEEK: True Blood returns, Tron: Uprising debuts and more!

Summer TV officially begins this week with the return of True Blood and Russell Edgington, and the premieres of NBC's Saving Hope and Disney XD's TRON: Uprising. Also this week, Fargo tries to save Holly's consciousness on Eureka, Bo gets down and dirty for her latest job on Lost Girl, Scott deals with werewolf hunters and werewolves on Teen Wolf, The Hunger Games District 12 is for sale on Hollywood Treasure, and the Jersey Shore faces Syfy's Jersey Shore Shark Attack. Here's what we have to look forward to this week on sci-fi, fantasy, and paranormal TV. Monday, June 4 Eureka (Syfy) 9 p.m. - "Ex-Machina" Could Holly's consciousness still be alive? Fargo thinks so, and he's determined to save her even though a security program threatens to delete her forever. Meanwhile, Carter seems to be at the center of things when paranormal activity seems to strike Global Dynamics. Here's a promo: Lost Girl (Syfy) 10 p.m. - "Fae Gone Wild" Bo goes undercover at a strip joint to track a murderer who has escaped from prison. Meanwhile, she and Lauren finally have "the talk" about what the heck the Fae are holding over Lauren to keep her in line. Here a sneak peek: Teen Wolf (MTV) 10 p.m. - "Shape Shifted" Part two of the two-part season two premiere! It looks like life isn't going to get boring anytime soon for Scott and the gang as the young werewolf learns more about Allison's grandpa and Derek continues his efforts to build his pack. Meanwhile, Isaac's father is murdered. Here's a look: Tuesday, June 5 Fact or Faked: Paranormal Files (Syfy) 9 p.m. - "Florida Woodland UFO; Black Forest Entity" The team takes on investigations in Florida of a UFO sighting and in Colorado of a haunting. Here's a sneak peek: Hollywood Treasure (Syfy) 10 p.m. - "Hunger for District 12" Hungry for a piece of The Hunger Games? So is Joe as he and the gang try to get District 12 for his latest auction. Meanwhile, a Transformer's car is rescued from a junkyard and a Star Wars puppet proves revealing. Here's a preview: Wednesday, June 6 Through the Wormhold with Morgan Freeman (Science) 10 p.m. - "Is There a Superior Race" Season three premiere! Morgan Freeman hosts this series which delves into scientific questions of our time. In the premiere, the question of race is explored, including whether we're headed into X-Men territory. Here's a general preview: Other Wednesday shows of interest: On Syfy's season two premiere of Haunted Collector (9 p.m.), haunted items cause trouble for a woman in Kentucky and at a silo in Ohio. Thursday, June 7 Tron: Uprising (Disney XD) 8 p.m. - "The Renegade, Part 1" Part one of the two-part series premiere! This spin-off of the Tron movies, tells the story of a young program named Beck (voiced by Elijah Wood), who tries to start a revolution within a computer world that is ruled over by a tyrant. The voice cast includes Mandy Moore, Emmanuelle Chriqui, Paul Reubens and the original Tron, Bruce Boxleitner. Here's a look: Saving Hope (NBC) 9 p.m. - "Pilot" Series premiere! Lois Lane and Dr. Daniel Jackson (aka Erica Durance and Michael Shanks) return to TV in this spiritual medical drama that explores the lives of Chief of Surgery Charlie Harris (Shanks) and his fiancée and fellow surgeon Alex Reid (Durance) when a car accident leads to Charlie ending up in a coma. However, this isn't your typical medical drama. Charlie's spirit wonders the halls, interacting with other coma patients and the dead. Thirteen episodes have been ordered. Here's a preview: Friday, June 8 The Dead Files (Travel) 10 p.m. - "Surrounded" Amy and Steve investigate a possible haunting at a historic Texas home. Saturday, June 9 Stephen Hawking's Grand Design (Discovery) Beginning at 8 p.m. Based on his acclaimed book with science writer Leonard Mlodinow, The Grand Design, Hawking brings his special viewpoint to TV. Beginning at 8 p.m., he delves into "The Meaning of Life." Then at 9 p.m., he explores "The Key to the Cosmos." And finally at 10 p.m., he looks at "Did God Create the Universe." Jersey Shore Shark Attack (Syfy) 9 p.m. Hungry sharks develop a taste for the locals at the Jersey shore on the 4th of July, but the locals try to give them indigestion. The TV movie stars Tony Sirico (The Sopranos), Paul Sorvino (Goodfellas), Jack Scalia (Dallas), Joey Fatone ('N Sync), William Atherton (Die Hard) and Vinny Guadagnino (Jersey Shore). Other Saturday shows of interest: On Lifetime's original movie, Who Killed Allison Parks? (8 p.m.), an ER nurse named Kaitlyn is accidentally electrocuted while tending to a young stabbing victim and begins experiencing the woman's memories. Here's a look: Sunday, June 10 True Blood (HBO) 9 p.m. - "Turn! Turn! Turn!" Season five premiere! Picking right up where the startling finale left off, Sookie and Lafayette are still dealing with Tara being shot in the head. And of course, they've got some clean up to do regarding the expiration of Debbie Pelt. Meanwhile, Bill and Eric have to deal with the Authority, Sam goes to war with Marcus' pack, and Terry has challenges with PTSD after the return of an old war buddy. But the big news... Russell Edgington is back and we're pretty sure he's not going to be happy with Sookie's friends. Falling Skies returns low, True Blood dips + 28 other genre shows

Our selection of shows grew yet again this week, and the summer's just getting started. Falling Skies premiered to lower numbers than it had last year, while True Blood dropped a bit but still managed to rule Sunday night's ratings ranking. Meanwhile, Tron: Uprising dove and Saving Hope got a week-two boost.

No new premieres this week, but all the shows we're currently tracking were back with new episodes. True Blood reclaimed the top spot in Sunday night cable, while Futurama suffered a Fourth of July slump. Meanwhile, Falling Skies got some very good news.

We still have more shows to look forward to this summer, but the shows we're already watching are definitely keeping us busy. This week, Saving Hope got a much-needed boost, while Falling Skies held steady and Eureka picked up some extra ratings in its penultimate episode. Meanwhile, True Blood still dominates, and Teen Wolf stays strong.

Our list of summer shows is growing again. Last week, we said goodbye to Eureka, but in its place Syfy gave us new seasons of Warehouse 13 and Alphas to watch. Meanwhile, True Blood continues to dominate Sunday nights even amid the Olympic Games, Lost Girl's faring well on Friday nights and Saving Hope might be headed for a second season.

Our summer schedule just keeps growing. This week Futurama joined the ranks of the shows we're watching, though it didn't do too well in its first week out. Meanwhile True Blood stayed strong, Falling Skies dropped, and Lost Girl and Eureka both got boosts.
