We all know Guillermo del Toro's pulling out all the badass stops for his giant robots vs. giant monsters fighting flick Pacific Rim, and we can't wait to see the trailer. What's the first teaser got in store for us? One of the flick's writers says it's big. Really big.

We still have a few months to wait for Guillermo del Toro's monsters vs. robots epic Pacific Rim, but del Toro and company are keeping us busy in the meantime with loads of cool promo material. A new poster for the flick just hit New York Comic-Con, and it's got us ready for war.

Guillermo del Toro has never made a movie in 3D and had no intention of doing so with his upcoming Pacific Rim. Unfortunately, he's been overruled.

After a triumphant presentation at San Diego Comic-Con of the first footage from his upcoming monsters (Kaiju) versus robots (Jaegers) film, Pacific Rim, director Guillermo del Toro talked to select reporters and boldly pronounced that making the movie was "a huge experience. The best I've had on any film set in all my life."
