One of the most fun parts of watching Marvel movies over the last few years has been waiting until after the end credits to see if Samuel Jackson, playing the eyepatched, Nick Fury, would turn up. Well Sam admitted he won't be in every Marvel film this coming year, but he will definitely be in at least one.

Like bows on top of an especially fine present, these spangly, spiffy head's-up displays and computer screens that were littered throughout The Avengers added a lush, techie texture that the movie wouldn't have been the same without. And here's a massive treasure trove of 'em.

Samuel L. Jackson may have taken on the mantle of S.H.I.E.L.D. commander Nick Fury in the recent slate of big screen Marvel adventures, but David Hasselhoff thinks the world needs reminding: Jackson may be the man now, but The Hoff is still the "ultimate" Nick Fury.

Over the course of the current Marvel film series—dating all the way back to Iron Man—the studio has been planting the seeds for S.H.I.E.L.D., ala Nick Fury (Samuel L. Jackson) popping up in various cameos. It's all been leading to The Avengers, and Jackson said all those cameos throughout the years helped set the stage to make S.H.I.E.L.D. a believable, organic initiative.

You know what we'd really love to see after that Avengers movie? A film starring Samuel L. Jackson's Nick Fury and S.H.I.E.L.D.. Yeah, we know we've got Iron Man 3, Thor 2 and Captain America 2 already on the horizon to look forward to (and we're really excited about all of 'em)—but a movie with Nick Fury? Now that would be badass.

We've known for a while that Marvel has scheduled two yet-to-be-revealed movies for 2014. Now thanks to one of the stars of Captain America, we may know what they are.

The Avengers puzzle is almost complete. Marvel previously released character posters for Captain America, Hawkeye, Black Widow and Iron Man and today a few more heroes joined the party. Say hello to Thor and the agents of S.H.I.E.L.D.
