With Warcraft's release poised on the horizon for a 2016 assault, director Duncan Jones is trying squeeze in one more pet film project before the bigscreen World of Warcraft adaptation invades multiplexes with clans of tusked orcs.

Mute is an homage to one Jones's favorite films, Ridley Scott's visionary 1982 masterwork, Blade Runner, and based on a hardboiled graphic novel he's been tinkering with for years with Dark Horse Comics.
