We’ve seen hints that Tony Stark could be grappling with some post-traumatic stress post-Avengers, and the latest Iron Man 3 clip shows he’s on the verge of cracking up.
A bit of new footage from Iron Man 3 has trickled out, showing off a ton of explosions and even more Pepper Potts (Gwyneth Paltrow). Bye bye, Stark mansion.
It looks like Marvel has decided we've waited long enough for another peek at Iron Man 3, so they've been kind enough to reveal four new pics from the eagerly anticipated sequel. Sorry Tony, but that armor mask has seen better days.
We've already heard Iron Man 3 will deal with the Extremis storyline from the comic—which focuses on the usage of nano-tech—but now Robert Downey, Jr. has opened up about how Iron Man 3 could change the Avenger for good.
Marvel exec Kevin Feige made waves when he said he could see Iron Man eventually played by a different actor, ala James Bond, if Robert Downey, Jr. ever decided to hang up his armor. Now, Downey, Jr. himself has chimed in.
If the trailer is any indication, The Avengers is basically set up to be The Tony Stark Show with a few Special Guest Stars, but even that might be too much sharing for Iron Man. According to Iron Man 3 director Shane Black, apart from a few references (and maybe a post-credits appearance?), his flick will be all Tony, all the time.
