Aliens love to invade the United Kingdom, and the Doctor has been fending off them off since 1963 (give or take a few million years). But in the trailer for the next season of Doctor Who, we finally get to see him in action in the United States.
We're up for any Doctor Who video game the universe wants to generate for us, but we probably would have been even more stoked if the Doctor's game console adventures had happened way back in the age of the NES.
Sometimes, sexual tension between science fiction or fantasy characters doesn't make a lot of sense. (Seriously: He's a bat and she's a cat. Who thought that would work?) We're not questioning the superb writing that has gone into making these timeless sci fi staples, we're just saying we might be able to do a better job as matchmaker.
We're still a few weeks away from seeing who got nominated for an Emmy, and until the official announcement, we plan on living in hope that some of these stellar sci-fi performances of the past year manage to make the cut.
