Earlier this week, we showed you the first pics from the set of Captain America: The First Avenger. And while the red, white and blue we saw in those images wasn't Cap himself, they still got us dreaming of the movie to come.

We don't know why it didn't occur to us until today, but when Joss Whedon got the writing and directing gig for The Avengers, it also gave him permission to help out with some other big-screen Marvel projects—including acting as a script doctor on The First Avenger: Captain America.

We're looking forward to Captain America: The First Avenger and hungry for any glimpse we can get of how the movie is coming along. And so even though the set photos that just surfaced don't show us anything of Chris Evans in that red, white and blue supersuit, we're still there!
