Brian Murphy has been writing and editing since 1998, having worked for such magazines and websites as Science Fiction Age, Realms of Fantasy, Sci-Fi Universe, Sci-Fi Entertainment, SCI FI Magazine, SCI FI Wire, Science Fiction Weekly, Fidgit, and Dvice. In his spare time he reads comics and novels, plays games (video and roleplaying), and scribbles story ideas on any available piece of paper.

He's the James Bond of the clergy. He's got holy gadgets and badass moves (in slow-mo, no less) to spare. And the evil he's up against is real evil. As in vampires. Not the sparkly kind. The monstrous kind. The kind who rip and shred and feast on blood and flesh. Audiences at the San Diego Comic-Con got to see him in action in a new trailer. Now you can see it, too.

We don't care what people say: Gremlins is a superb Christmas movie, right up there with It's a Wonderful Life and Miracle on 34th Street. Not only that, but it sits among the pantheon of Great '80s Kids Movies. (Think E.T., The Dark Crystal and Breakin' 2: Electric Boogaloo. OK, maybe not that last one.)

When the Death Star's been destroyed and the TIE fighters are in the shop, what does a Dark Lord use for reliable transportation? Turns out—a 1983 Chevy Camaro. And ... well ... it also turns out that it was actually actor David Prowse who used to own it, not Vader. But if you're ready to fork over £650 (which is the starting bid) or more —it and the bragging rights could be yours!

We send stuff up into Earth's atmosphere all the time. Satellites. Shuttles. Rockets. Humans. The odd helmeted chimp or lab rat. Everything that goes up must come down, right? Not necessarily. Some of it stays up there, longer than we ever intended. So ... just how much stuff sails above our heads every day? (Those suffering from maimouphobia, don't worry. We're sure the monkeys ain't there anymore.)

When we last saw Capt. Jack Sparrow in At World's End, he was (and we hope we're not spoiling things here—after all, it's been three frakkin' years!) adrift in a dingy, with good rum, wind in his sails and the important part of a treasure map. We figured Capt. Jack was off for more high adventures, but what they were or whether we'd ever get to see them, we had no idea. Now we do.

Now that we've been teased by three new Chuck posters at Comic-Con, the show's Sept. 20 season-four premiere suddenly seems much farther away than it did yesterday. (It's been a long summer without getting our weekly fix of Sarah Walker. Um ... that is, Yvonne Strahovski.) Check out the official poster as well as two fan-made posters that have us counting down the days until the return of our favorite spy show.

Remember that Haunted Mansion movie? The one with Eddie Murphy? If you're one of the few who saw it—forget it. Because Guillermo del Toro took the stage near the end of the Tron: Legacy panel at the San Diego Comic-Con to announce that he'd be co-writing and producing (and possibly directing!) a NEW Haunted Mansion film based on the Disney theme-park attraction.

Don't worry if you didn't make it to San Diego for this year's Comic-Con, because you get to share in the eye candy, too. The latest comes in the form of a digitized Jeff Bridges, Olivia Wilde, Bruce Boxleitner and Garrett Hedlund in Tron: Legacy.
