By now you're realizing that the 20th Century Fox marketing campaign for Ridley Scott's Alien: Covenant is going for the jugular by revealing many of the shocking plot points in this Prometheus sequel. You either need to go with it or make a Herculean effort to avoid all magazines, TV, newspapers, theaters, smartphones, online entertainment sites, chatrooms and bus stops... and you'd still be open to some unmentioned form of info transmission stealthily leaked into the ether.
Here are five hi-res images from Empire and Entertainment Weekly that show what appears to be Walter (Michael Fassbender) in the cryo-stasis chamber investigating some foreign goo, David (Michael Fassbender) lording over the Engineer's Citadel and surveying his target below while a payload of black canisters threatens to deploy, a flashback scene of David with Peter Weyland, a full body shot of a crouching Neomorph devouring a Covenant crew member, and finally, the swarm of extermination pods descending onto the poor welcoming crowd of Humanoid/Engineers below the Juggernaut with David's silhouette observing while the ship is attached to the docking tower.
Much of this last sequence was already revealed in the CinemaCon footage shown last month and detailed HERE, with the hijacked Juggernaut being welcomed to the Paradise planet and a massacre unfolding all orchestrated by David, with his body now reattached to his android body.
Take a peek in the gallery below and tell us if any of this spoilery business is diminishing your appetite for Alien: Covenant or just arousing it more for the May 19 invasion.
