Cosplay we love: Life-size Rogue One K-2SO fan build

This is the droid you’re looking for.

One of my favorite characters in Rogue One: A Star Wars Story was, without a doubt, K-2SO: the former Imperial droid and reprogrammed member of the Rebel Alliance who was brought to life by Firefly and Powerless actor Alan Tudyk. Fun fact: Tudyk also played a robot in 2004's I, Robot.

So imagine how excited I was by this awesome cosplay created by Darren Moser of the Replica Prop Forum, who is currently working on a controllable life-size puppet of the Rogue One droid! In the video below, Moser provides an inside look for Adam Savage’s Tested webseries where he talks about the materials used in the construction of K-2SO and how he went about putting it all together, offering a demonstration of his life-size droid puppet replica's inner workings. You should probably start building now for Halloween. Just sayin'.

Still a work in progress (Moser says it's about 75% done), it's definitely bound to make heads turn on the convention floors. Have a look:
