Thor: Ragnarok footage debuts at CinemaCon

In addition to glimpses of Star Wars: The Last Jedi, CinemaCon attendees also got a look at a clip from Thor: Ragnarok plus a first look at some of the film's concept art.

Disney EVP, Theatrical Exhibition Sales & Distribution Dave Hollis made a promise before the presentation: “Trust me, this is a Thor like no other." Hollis also confirmed the return of The Hulk (which we knew a year ago, but it's still nice to get a confirmation).

According to ComicBook.com's Brandon Davis, the footage features Thor in the Sakaaran gladiator arena standing on The Hulk's shoulders as they fight for their lives. Considering Hulk and Thor are supposed to fight one another in that arena at some point, we're wondering where this new footage fits in.

Hollis also assured everyone that, while we've seen a decidedly helmetless Thor in any of the promotional materials, the Asgardian will be donning his famous winged helmet. From what we've already heard about the film, Thor's going to need a little more freedom of movement, which is why his helmet hasn't been seen.

Director Taika Waititi has said that he wants Thor: Ragnarok to be both a superhero movie and a buddy film inspired by 48 Hours, Withnail and and Planes, Trains and Automobiles

We're up to take that ride. How about you?
