A week ago, we had our first look (in character) at Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson, Kevin Hart, Jack Black and Karen Gillan on the Honolulu set of Jumanji. But there was someone missing from the picture: co-star Nick Jonas.
Well, here he is! Johnson has shared our first official look at Jonas — who is wearing a cool pilot leather jacket, by the way — on the set of the movie via social media with the caption:
Officially welcoming my guy @NickJonas to #Jumanji. Great dude, great positive energy and very talented. He's gonna kill this role like I kill things with my bare hands. The jungle awaits. The adventure continues. And ironically the one who sings the most on set is Jack Black. #OnLocation #Hawaii #WelcomeToTheFamilyNick #Jumanji
The new Jumanji will be a "continuation" of the 1995 film that starred the late Robin Williams and Kirsten Dunst. Directed by Jake Kasdan (son of Lawrence Kasdan) from a script by Scott Rosenberg and Jeff Pinkner, based on a draft penned by Chris McKenna and Erik Sommers, the movie will open in theaters on July 28, 2017.
