Image(s) of the Day: Zords rule in new NYCC Power Rangers posters

A fresh batch of Power Rangers character posters has been dropped by Lionsgate, paired with the New York Comic Con panel announcement for Saturday, Oct. 8, where the full reveal of the titanic Zords will be exposed.   Each one of these new promo portraits features one of the five iconic Power Rangers relaxing atop their humongous alien-made Zords.  This ambitious reboot contains an entirely new design for the prehistoric assault machines and the Ranger's otherworldly outfits.  This first tantalizing tease of the mechanized T-rex, Triceratops, Pterodactyl, Saber-Toothed Tiger and Mastodon should incite feverish fan interest in this new $120 million, live-action superhero spectacle.

Directed by Dean Israelite (Project Almanac), Saban's Power Rangers strikes theaters on March 24, 2017, and star Dacre Montgomery (A Few Less Men) as Jason the Red Ranger, RJ Cyler (Me and Earl and the Dying Girl) as Billy the Blue Ranger, Naomi Scott (The 33) as Kimberly the Pink Ranger, Becky G (Empire) as Trini the Yellow Ranger, Ludi Lin (Monster Hunt) as Zack the Black Ranger, Elizabeth Banks (The Hunger Games) as Rita Repulsa and Bryan Cranston (Breaking Bad, Godzilla) as Zordon.
