See what Thor was up to during Captain America: Civil War in hilarious SDCC video

They took their sweet time, but Marvel has finally released the hilarious Thor mockumentary shown to the fans during their Hall H panel at San Diego Comic-Con back in July.

The hilarious 3-minute video was helmed by Thor: Ragnarok director Taika Waititi, and it reveals what Thor (Chris Hemsworth) and (to a much lesser extent) Bruce Banner (Mark Ruffalo) were up to during the events of Captain America: Civil War. (As we all know, both Avengers were MIA in the movie.)

“While You Were Fighting: A Thor Mockumentary” follows the God of Thunder as this one grapples with the fact that he wasn’t called upon to take part in the epic conflict “relationship problems” between Tony Stark and Steve Rogers — and not for lack of trying. Dude even sent an “electronic letter” to both Tony and Steve in order to offer his services to either Team Cap or Team Iron Man. Well, no matter now, the God of Thunder is now creating his own team: Team Thor. Where's the signup sheet?

The documentary reveals Thor has moved to Australia for some “Me Time” after saving the world in Avengers: Age of Ultron, and we’re introduced to his roommate, Darryl. Thor putting Mjolnir to bed, complete with its own little blanket, is so hilariously cute, and LOL at his Thanos and Infinity Stones chart. It’s pretty clear Waititi has an awesome sense of humor (and so does Chris Hemsworth), and I can’t wait to see what he does with Thor: Ragnarok. Check it out!
