Alan Tudyk and Nathan Fillion introduce Con Man: The Game in new animated trailer

If you’re a huge fan of conventions, mobile games and Alan Tudyk and Nathan Fillion’s Con Man web series, then you’ll want to get your hands on Con Man: The Game.

Tudyk and Fillion introduced Con Man: The Game by releasing an animated trailer for the mobile game — which you can download for free on iTunes and Google Play. It’s out now, just so you know. I just downloaded mine. Guess who’s gonna be busy building her very own convention later today? I may not even surface for the entire weekend! But I digress.

Here’s a description of the game via Entertainment Weekly:

Developed by digital entertainment studio Frima and Con Man executive producer P.J. Haarsma, the mobile game allows players to build and host “the greatest comic book convention in the history of the world” with help from Fillion, Tudyk, Felicia Day, Nolan North, and Joss Whedon, among others. Playing as the omnipotent and ambitious convention planner, participants will need to grow their con and increase their hype meter by setting up new booths and inviting celebrities. They will have to balance their growth with keeping con-goers happy by squashing cockroaches, catching the occasional octogenarian streaker, and fending off alien invasions.

“I’m addicted. I should be clear, to Con Man: The Game. We’ve been working on this since the crowdfunding campaign. I’m so glad we can finally share it with everyone,” said Alan Tudyk in a statement.

“I think I should get a special code that gets Nathan Fillion to my convention for free, anytime I want,” said Nathan Fillion, with P.J. Haarsma adding: “We created a funny and challenging game that fits well with the show. I’m very proud of it.”

Have a look at the trailer, and let us know if you’re planning on playing Con Man: The Game. As for Season 2 of Con Man, it will debut on Comic-Con HQ in November 2016.
