Deus Ex: Mankind Divided unleashes a new launch trailer

Eidos Montreal has released a new launch trailer for Deus Ex: Mankind Divided. The newest entry in the highly popular Deus Ex video game franchise is a sequel to 2011’s Deus Ex: Human Revolution.

Mankind Divided is set two years after the events of Human Revolution and sees the return of our main man Adam Jensen, who is boasting some new tech and body augmentations. The new trailer puts the spotlight on the Titan shield, as well as Jensen’s new gun-arm augmentations, called the Tesla, the Nanoblade and the PEPS. And everything looks pretty darn sweet. Check it out:

We were all created equal… But in 2029, after the Aug incident which caused the death of millions, mankind stands divided. The oppression of the mechanically augmented has created a climate of fear and resentment, resulting in an escalation of crime and acts of terror. Amid all the chaos, Adam Jensen goes after are the Illuminati, the men and women responsible for tearing the world apart. Armed with a new arsenal of state-of-the-art weapons and augmentations, he must choose the right approach, along with who to trust, in order to unravel a vast worldwide conspiracy.
