TV THIS WEEK: Fear the Walking Dead returns, new Steven Universe, and more!

As you may have noticed, we're living in the middle of the Summer Olympics, something few networks want to program against, so summer TV is pretty quiet this week. In fact, it might be as quiet as we've ever seen it. Don't worry, it'll pick up soon enough. In the meantime, here are the shows to get you through this week (when you're not watching track or gymnastics or Stranger Things).

Check out the week in TV below. What's on your watchlist?

(It's a very light week, as I said.)

Steven Universe (TOON) Thursday, 7 p.m. - "Buddy's Book"

New Season! - If you're a Steven Universe fan, you know that the show has a reputation for airing on a somewhat irregular schedule. For the past few weeks, we've been getting four of five episodes a week, and now things are slowing down again. The good news for fans, though, is that Steven and the Gems are back for their fourth season, and there are no signs of slowing down. Check out a preview below.

Fear the Walking Dead (AMC) Sunday, 9 p.m. - "Grotesque"

Midseason premiere! - We haven't seen Fear the Walking Dead since May, but this weekend it's back for the rest of its second season, and a third season is already promised. The Walking Dead spinoff hasn't yet generated the same enthusiasm and must-watch reputation as its big brother, but it's still giving AMC solid numbers, and we don't expect it to go away any time soon. This week, we take a dive in to Nick's dark past. Check out a preview below.

Monday's very quiet this week, so watch the Olympics, or catch up on your DVR.

Zoo (CBS) 9 p.m. - "Sins of the Father"

Jackson is faced with a difficult decision; Mitch reluctantly seeks assistance from his father to research the origin of the last set of triple helix animal bones.
