The Dark Knight meets with the Joker in first Batman: The Killing Joke clip

DC All Access has released the first clip for Warner Bros.’ upcoming animated movie Batman: The Killing Joke.

The adaptation of Alan Moore’s infamous Batman story will first be released in movie theaters on July 25 for one night only (do you have your tickets?) before being released on Digital HD the following day and hitting store shelves on Blu-ray and DVD on Aug. 2.

The R-rated adaptation (a first for a DC/WB animated film) will expand the role of Batgirl (voiced by Tara Strong) by adding a 15-minute prologue to the story. Batman: The Killing Joke will also see the return of Kevin Conroy as the voice of Bruce Wayne/Batman and Mark Hamill as the Joker.

In the clip, the Dark Knight goes to Arkham Asylum in order to have a bit of a chat with the Clown Prince of Crime. But things are not exactly as they seem ... the clip begins around the 3:55 mark if you want to skip ahead.

Are you looking forward to Batman: The Killing Joke?
