Looks like Season 6 will bid a final goodbye to Scott (Tyler Posey) and his Pack -- Stiles (Dylan O’Brien), Liam (Dylan Sprayberry), Malia (Shelley Henning), Hayden (Victoria Moroles) and Lydia (Holland Roden) -- as well as Sheriff Stilinski (Linden Ashby), Deputy Jordan Parish (Ryan Kelley).Dr. Alan Deaton (Seth Gilliam), Melissa McCall (Melissa Ponzio) and Chris Argent (JR Bourne). And in case you're wondering, Arden Cho will not be returning as Kira for the upcoming season.
Teen Wolf showrunner Jeff Davis announced during Thursday’s San Diego Comic-Con panel that the show will bow out at the end of the sixth season. So we'll have to say: Bye bye, Beacon Hills. “I know we’re sad about it and it’s bittersweet, but we’re so happy to be able to come to Comic-Con and share it with you guys,” said Davis.
The 20 episodes final season will feature the Nazi werewolf that escaped The Dread Doctors’ pod thingy at the end of Season 5, and if having Nazis running around town wasn’t enough, Season 6 will introduce new villains called Ghost Riders (no, not the Marvel character) and tackle the legend of The Wild Hunt. The sixth season will also see the return of ... Theo Rayken (Cody Christian), whom we last saw being swallowed into the ground by his dead sister, and Peter Hale (Ian Bohen), who sadly sat out the whole of Season 5.
Here’s what Davis had to say about bringing the former werewolf Alpha villain we love to hate and hate to love back into the fold:
“When we realized this might be the last season, we wanted to make sure we brought back these relationships. We definitely wanted Peter Hale back to see the relationship between Peter and Malia and what other trouble Peter could get into… and we also have some great scenes between Peter and Stiles. I wanted to see again and Ian and Dylan [O’Brien] have some great stuff this season so we’ll see.”
Teen Wolf's 100th episode will serve as the show's finale and will air sometime in 2017. Season 6 will premiere in November on MTV.
