Nintendo releasing a miniature NES loaded with 30 games that’ll fit in your hand

Not content to revel in nostalgia with Pokemon Go, Nintendo is digging a bit deeper into its catalog with something that will certainly be of interest to fans of a certain age.

The video game company has announced plans to release a miniature Nintendo Entertainment System (NES) called the NES Classic Edition. It’ll come loaded with 30 of the most popular games released on the console, but sadly doesn’t play old cartridges (sigh). The game list includes classics such as Castelvania, Final Fantasy, Excitebike, Tecmo Bowl and all the requisite Super Mario Bros. titles.

The system connects via HDMI, so no need to mess with old lo-fi cables, and includes a controller that works just like the old NES pad of yore. The new (old) gamepad also connects to a Wii U, so it can double as a controller for virtual console games, if you’re so inclined. It’s set to retail for $59.99 and hits shelves in November.

Here’s the full list of games:

Balloon Fight
Bubble Bobble
Castlevania II: Simon's Quest
Donkey Kong
Donkey Kong Jr.
Double Dragon II: The Revenge
Dr. Mario
Final Fantasy
Ghosts'N Goblins
Ice Climber
Kid Icarus
Kirby's Adventure
