Cosplay we Love: Impressive Predator warrior lurks in the woods

Here's an amazing Predator costume that might fool even the most observant Yautja clan hunter on the prowl. When Stan Winston conjured up the original design for the alien creature in John McTiernan's 1987 sci-fi horror adventure, he envisioned a 7-foot-tall, technologically advanced reptilian gladiator with an expanding arthropod mandible (via James Cameron) and adorned with otherworldly weapons and long dreadlocks. That practical effects outfit has come to be recognized as one of the most iconic movie monsters in Hollywood history.

This anonymous Russian cosplay wizard took to the woods and snapped an ominous photo shoot of his professionally detailed Predator creation, which includes a shoulder-mounted plasma cannon, keypad gauntlet, wrist blades, breathing tubes and a tribal trophy necklace.

Take a look in the gallery below and tell us if this wicked extraterrestrial warrior is a worthy addition to the Predator legacy.
