Miss Peregrine's Home for Peculiar Children opens its doors for a second magical trailer

20th Century Fox has released a brand-new trailer for director Tim Burton’s next opus, Miss Peregrine’s Home for Peculiar Children.

The upcoming movie stars Eva Green, Asa Butterfield, Ella Purnell, Chris O'Dowd, Allison Janney, Terence Stamp, Rupert Everett, Judi Dench and Samuel L. Jackson. Lauren McCrostie stars as Olive, Pixie Davies as Bronwyn, Cameron King plays Millard, Ella Purnell plays Emma, and Thomas and Joseph Odwell are the Twins, the peculiar children of the movie.

Based on the 2011 best-selling novel by Ransom Riggs, Miss Peregrine’s Home for Peculiar Children tells the story of teenaged Jacob “Jake” Portman (Butterfield). Following clues from his grandfather’s past in the wake of a horrible family tragedy, Jake stumbles onto a mysterious orphanage run by the mysterious Miss Peregrine (Green) -- a shape-shifter who can turn into a bird and manipulates time, creating time loops to protect kids with "peculiar" powers from monsters called hollows, or hollowgasts.

The children’s powers include (among others) invisibility, super strength, fire manipulation and levitation and are on full display in the new trailer below. Check it out:
