Concept art for cancelled Spider-Man 4 reveals 2 original Sinister Six villains

Some new awesome pieces of concept art from Sam Raimi’s cancelled Spider-Man 4 have emerged, revealing the wall-crawler was set to face-off against two original Sinister Six villains.

As we know, Spider-Man 4 never saw the light of day due to the creative differences that arose between Sony and director Sam Raimi. Raimi was still keen on a fourth entry into the franchise despite the rather mixed reception Spider-Man 3 had.

In the end, the movie was axed and Sony decided to go ahead by rebooting the superhero franchise with two Amazing Spider-Man films, and we all know how that one ended as well.

While we knew Spider-Man 4 would have introduced Marvel villain The Vulture (what Spider-Man: Homecoming will actually be doing next year) and Felicia Hardy, aka Black Cat, we didn’t know the film would have also featured Mysterio.

Have a look at the concept art below released via writer and illustrator Jeffrey Henderson's website, and let us know what you think. Oh, and the woman in the concept art is Angelina Jolie Felicia Hardy, aka Black Cat, who was supposed to b.
