Dig into Powers Season 2 with this new video featurette and poster

With the second season of the PlayStation Original series Powers fast approaching, a new video featurette featuring interviews from the cast and creators of the show, as well as a new poster, have been released.

Featuring some cool, never-before-seen footage from the upcoming season, the “Powers: The Story Continues” video also serves as both a refresher and a sneak peek into the first season of the superhero series. Season 2 will follow the “Who Killed Retro Girl” storyline from the Image Comics (2000-2004) written by Brian Michael Bendis and illustrated by Michael Avon Oeming, before the title moved to Marvel Comics as a part of its Icon imprint in 2004. Check it out:

The world-famous superhero Retro Girl (played by Michelle Forbes) was shockingly murdered, throwing the Powers world into chaos. When the world’s greatest Power is gone, who will rise to find her killer and fight back the onslaught of mysterious foes who attempt to fill the void?

As for the new poster, you can have a look at Sharlto Copley (District 9) as Detective Christian Walker, Susan Heyward (Vinyl) as Detective Deena Pilgrim, Logan Browning (Hit the Floor) as Zora, Olesya Rulin (High School Musical) as Calista Secor, Michael Madsen (The Hateful Eight) as SuperShock and Raul Casso (That Awkward Moment) as Sgt. Martinez -- with the "powers" standing in the fiery ruins of Los Angeles.

The first three episodes of Powers Season 2 are set to premiere in the U.S. and Canada on May 31, with new episodes available to stream each Tuesdays only on PlayStation Store. Are you looking forward to the new season?
