Liam Neeson narrates a nightmarish 1st trailer for the children's fantasy film A Monster Calls

Liam Neeson creates a creepy ambiance narrating this first trailer for A Monster Calls, a fantasy fable based on the acclaimed children's book by Patrick Ness.  Directed with a dreamlike intensity by Juan Antonio Bayona (The Orphange, The Impossible), this dark Euro fairy tale features the sinister vocal work of Neeson and also stars Toby Kebbell, Sigourney Weaver and Geraldine Chaplin.  Keep this mystical kids' flick on your radar!

A visually spectacular drama from acclaimed director Juan Antonio Bayona (“The Impossible”), based on the award-winning children’s fantasy novel. 12-year-old Conor (Lewis MacDougall) attempts to deal with his mother’s (Felicity Jones) illness and the bullying of his classmates by escaping into a fantastical world of monsters and fairy tales that explore courage, loss, and faith.


With its magical tree creature and nightmare imagery, A Monster Calls creeps into theaters on Oct. 14, 2016.
