TV THIS WEEK: Orphan Black returns, The Magicians finale, and more!

This week's TV brings with it even more fun spring premieres and finales. On the premiere side, there's the return of Orphan Black, the debut of Syfy's Hunters and a full week of Marvel fun courtesy of Jimmy Kimmel. On the finale side, we're saying goodbye to both The Magicians and iZombie, while knowing they're both coming back next season.

Check out the week in TV below. What's on your watchlist?

The Magicians (Syfy) Monday, 9 p.m. - "Have You Brought Me Little Cakes"

Season finale! - We've known for more than two months now that Syfy's fantasy series, based on the acclaimed novels by Lev Grossman, would be back. After a strong cross-platform premiere and a Live+3 average of nearly 2 million viewers for its earliest episode, the network picked up Season 2, leaving fans with nothing to do but enjoy the remaining episodes. This week, we get the last of them until 2017, as Quentin and Julia arrive in Fillory to join the search for The Beast. Check out a preview below.

Hunters (Syfy) Monday, 10 p.m. - "The Beginning & The End"

Series premiere! - Syfy's been on a bit of hot streak with its original dramas lately thanks to successful critical and commercial endeavors like 12 MonkeysThe Expanse and the aforementioned The Magicians. Now, the network's trying another hard sci-fi genre drama with Hunters, the latest project from producers Gale Anne Hurd (The Walking Dead) and Natalie Chaidez (Heroes). Based on Whitley Streiber's novel Alien Hunter, the series follows an FBI agent (Nathan Phillips) as he searches for his missing wife, only to discover that her disappearance is tied to a group of inhuman terrorists known only as Hunters. From there, he joins an elite unit of fighters devoted to bringing down the alien threat. If you love alien conspiracies and hard sci-fi that's also loaded with action, you'll want to check this one out. Check out a preview below.

Jimmy Kimmel Live (ABC) Monday-Thursday, 10:30 p.m.

Marvel Week! - With just weeks to go until the premiere of Captain America: Civil War, Marvel Studios is revving up its promotional machine, and this week they're doing it through the Disney-owned ABC network and Jimmy Kimmel Live. All week long, Kimmel will be welcoming Marvel stars to his show, so if you're a fan of these heroes you'll want to tune in. Tonight, members of Team Cap -- including Chris Evans, Anthony Mackie, Sebastian Stan and Paul Rudd will be on the couch. Tuesday, we get the big one: An appearance from Benedict Cumberbatch and the reveal of the first trailer for this fall's Doctor Strange, as well as an appearance by Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. star Clark Gregg. Wednesday, Team Iron Man members Robert Downey Jr., Don Cheadle, Paul Bettany, Chadwick Boseman, and Emily Van Camp will stop by. Then, it's capped off on Thursday by an appearance from Chris Hemsworth, who'll be promoting The Huntsman: Winter's War, but there's no way some Thor: Ragnarok talk won't come up.

iZombie (CW) Tuesday, 8 p.m. - "Dead Beat" and "Salivation Army"

Two-hour season finale! - iZombie was renewed, along with basically every other CW drama, last month, so we know Season 3 is imminent. The show has never been a blockbuster for the network, but it has something CW executives always tend to value, and that's consistency (look at Supernatural's track record for proof of that). It doesn't ever climb to the heights of Arrow or The Flash, hovering somewhere in the 1.5 Million live viewers range each week, but its fanbase is enthusiastic, and like so many CW shows it performs well after live broadcasts. So, get ready for more soon. For now, enjoy the final two hours of Season 2.

Orphan Black (BBC) Thursday, 10 p.m. - "The Collapse of Nature"

Season premiere! - Orphan Black is one of the most consistently critically beloved genre shows on TV right now. Though its viewer numbers have never been particularly high, it continues to draw an ethusiastic audiences, and the reviews continue to be very, very positive. So, for Season 4, BBC America is taking steps to get the show in front of more eyes by moving it from Saturday nights to Thursday nights. Thursday is a TV day for heavy-hitters, as evidenced by the residency there of hits like The Big Bang Theory and Scandal, so the show won't be without competition. What it will have, though, is a chance to shine beyond a small weekend audience. That could mean more viewers, and more viewers mean more seasons. This week, a Neolution attack forces Sarah out of hiding. Check out a preview below.
