Lex Luthor's evil plan in Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice revealed

While we all know Lex Luthor is the bane of Superman’s existence, we didn’t know just how evil the iconic DC Comics villain will be in director Zack Snyder's Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice.

In a new article over at Entertainment Weekly, some new spoilery information has emerged concerning Lex’s (Jesse Eisenberg) dastardly plan to pit Ben Affleck’s Caped Crusader against Henry Cavill’s Man of Steel, and it ain’t pretty.

Here’s what was revealed about Luthor's despicably E-V-I-L plans in the upcoming superhero movie:

The rage and anxiety of these two characters [Batman and Superman] is manipulated by Lex Luthor (Jesse Eisenberg), a billionaire sociopath with a God complex of his own who takes joy in bringing the powerful to their knees. Luthor not only [slight spoiler alert] orchestrates a mass murder aimed at turning the two heavy hitters against each other but also uses some Kryptonian relics left behind from the Man of Steel aftermath to cook up a cosmic mutant Frankenstein— Doomsday, partially built from the remains of Michael Shannon’s General Zod.

Although we already knew General Zod was going to be used in the making-of Doomsday, we had yet to learn that Lex was planning to orchestrate mass murder to reach his goals. That’s pretty cold, dude, but not *that* surprising coming from him.

The rest of the article touches upon an "angrier" Batman and a Superman still being plagued by inner turmoil, trying to figure out how to use his godlike strength and to avoid making more of them huge costly mistakes. Destroying Metropolis will do that to you.

They also discuss Wonder Woman’s (Gal Gadot) role in the movie, saying that Diana Prince is pretty much badass even before she puts on her golden lasso and her tiara and wields that sword and shield.

Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice opens in theaters on March 25. In the meanwhile, check out the gallery below, and let us know what you think.
