Alan Rickman narrates the first TV teaser for Alice Through the Looking Glass

Slip into a psychedelic new Super Bowl TV promo for Alice Through the Looking Glass, with a late Alan Rickman narrating the affair with his deep, distinctive voice.  The Tim Burton-directed Alice in Wonderland from 2010 was a magical cash cow for Disney, collecting $1.025 billion (yes, I did write BILLION!) in worldwide box-office receipts, becoming the second-biggest film of the year,  so it's no wonder the studio decided to take a journey back to Lewis Carroll's trippy fantasy followup from 1871 to see if lightning can strike twice.

Here's the official synopsis from Disney:

In Disney’s “Alice Through the Looking Glass,” an all-new spectacular adventure featuring the unforgettable characters from Lewis Carroll’s beloved stories, Alice returns to the whimsical world of Underland and travels back in time to save the Mad Hatter. Directed by James Bobin, who brings his own unique vision to the spectacular world Tim Burton created on screen in 2010 with “Alice in Wonderland,” the film is written by Linda Woolverton based on characters created by Lewis Carroll and produced by Joe Roth, Suzanne Todd and Jennifer Todd and Tim Burton with John G. Scotti serving as executive producer.

Take a peek at the new TV spot airing Super Sunday and tell us if you're headed back down Alice's rabbit hole.

Directed by James Bobin, Alice Through the Looking Glass opens May 27, 2016, and stars Mia Wasikowska, Johnny Depp, Anne Hathaway, Helena Bonham Carter, Rhys Ifans, Stephen Fry, Matt Lucas, Andrew Scott, Ed Speleers, John Sessions and Michael Sheen, with Sacha Baron Cohen appearing as the new villain, Time.
