NBC opens the book on Grimm’s final chapter with these 2 new Season 6 sneak peeks

We’re exactly two weeks away from the hotly anticipated premiere of the sixth and final season of NBC's supernatural crime drama series Grimm, and the network has released two new videos highlighting the show’s dark twists and turns to come.

The 13-episode final season will pick things right where we left off in the Season 5 finale following the death of Conrad Bonaparte (Shaun Toub) and the defeat of the “nefarious forces of Black Claw.” In the "first look" video below, the cast and crew look back on the past five supernatural-filled seasons before looking ahead at the final things to come in Season 6, which will pitch Nick (David Giuntoli) against Capt. Sean Renard (Sasha Roiz). Should be fun.

As for the first Season 6 preview, the spotlight is put on Capt. Renard and Adalind’s (Claire Coffee) super powerful daughter Diana (Hannah R. Loyd), who made Renard kill Bonaparte in order to save Nick, while Nick has to go on the run following the bloody massacre at his loft. Created by David Greenwalt (Buffy the Vampire Slayer, Angel), Jim Kouf (National Treasure) and Stephen Carpenter (Blue Streak), Grimm will return for the show’s final chapter with the premiere episode titled “Fugitive” on Jan. 6 in its NEW timeslot of 8 p.m./7c on NBC.

CAPT. RENARD ORDERS A SHOOT-TO-KILL MANHUNT ON NICK BURKHARDT – Following the massacre in Nick’s (David Giuntoli) loft, Capt. Renard (Sasha Roiz) is hellbent on eliminating him once and for all. Hank (Russell Hornsby) and Wu (Reggie Lee) head back to the precinct to keep an eye on the Captain and help give the gang the upper hand.

Meanwhile, Monroe (Silas Weir Mitchell) and Rosalee (Bree Turner) grapple with staying in Portland now that their family will be expanding. Elsewhere, Eve (Bitsie Tulloch) suffers the side effects of the mysterious stick’s healing power.
