Robbie Reyes is back in first look at Marvel Comics' new Ghost Rider run

With Robbie Reyes lighting it up (pun intended) in live action over on Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D., Marvel is gearing up to launch a brand-new Ghost Rider comic run starring the muscle car-driving spirit of vengeance.

The series, simply titled Ghost Rider, follows Robbie Reyes after a bizarre and powerful object has been unearthed in Southern California. The mystery is so big it attracts the attention of Amadeus Cho’s Totally Awesome Hulk, who comes to town and butts head with the Ghost Rider. It’s great to see Robbie get a fresh run, but Hulk vs. Ghost Rider? Yes, please. The debut issue will also feature a backup story focused on the new Ghost Rider baddie Pyston Nitro.

The series will be written by Robbie Reyes’ co-creator Felipe Smith (All-New Ghost Rider), who will be joined by artist Danilo Beyruth (Deadpool v Gambit). Having Smith back in the driver’s seat (heehee) is a great move. This is definitely one to watch.

The first issue of Ghost Rider hits comic store shelves Nov. 30.
