Here's a frantic 5-page preview for this week's Injustice: Ground Zero #9

Swoop into Blastr's exclusive preview for the next deliciously twisted chapter of DC's Injustice: Ground Zero, the digital-first comic series meant to fill in the timeline following the events of the acclaimed battle royale video game, Injustice: Gods Among Us, and before Injustice 2, launching in March of 2017.

Written by Christopher Sebela (Escape From New York, Alien vs. Predator: Fire And Stone), Ground Zero's storyline unspools after a three-year run of Injustice comic prequels and is a rowdy retelling of the 2013 game's contentious saga all emerging from the depths of Harley Quinn's demented perspective.  The homicidal jester commands the Joker's goon squad to help Batman’s Insurgency, a rebellious faction against a despotic Superman and his Earth One Regime.  Showcasing a revolving roster af artists, new digital chapters debut every Tuesday via the DC App,iBooks, comiXology.com, Google Play, Kindle Store, Nook Store, and iVerse ComicsPlus. Ground Zero will also be offered as a bi-monthly print series beginning on Dec. 7th.

“In GROUND ZERO, we’re trying to bridge the gap between the first INJUSTICE comic and the upcoming INJUSTICE 2 prequel comic by adapting the first videogame,” said Sebela. “I’m so excited to have Harley Quinn as our eyes and ears and heart of the book. While so much of Injustice is about larger than life figures at odds with each other, Harley’s down on the ground, dodging the fallout of all these wars, getting herself into trouble and trying to figure out how to live life post-Joker. By using Harley as our wildly unreliable narrator, we hope this book appeals to fans who’ve been reading INJUSTICE since Year One and for new readers who’ve never picked up an INJUSTICE book.”

Here's the official synopsis for "Muscle Car Part 1":

Harley Quinn doesn't need to wait around for marching orders for Batman. When the Dark Knight has his hands full, Harley and the Joker Clan decide to help him out by breaking into the Batcave to steal the Batmobile. Only problem? Shazam has been put in charge of guarding Wayne Manor, and it may take more than an army to stop him.
