Ahead of tomorrow’s Season 2 premiere of Legends of Tomorrow, The CW has released a cool new sneak peek at the upcoming episode titled “Out of Time.”
As you can see in the clip below, the rip-roaring time-traveling series features one half of Firestorm, Dr. Martin Stein (Victor Garber) and Mick Rory/Heat Wave (Dominic Purcell) having some face time with the one and only Albert Einstein (John Rubinstein). This one has been plucked from 1942 and brought on board the Waverider to keep him from being kidnapped by Nazis planning to use the good professor to make an atomic bomb to blast the Big Apple off the map. Yeah, I can see how that’s a problem. Fun part is that it doesn’t take long for Einstein to realize that he’s been snatched by time travelers.
Albert Einstein won't be the only character of note making an appearance in the first episode. The Green Arrow himself, Oliver Queen (Stephen Amell), will pop up as a new threat arises (that’d be the Legion of Doom) and new series character Dr. Nate Heywood (Nick Zano), aka Citizen Steel, seeks out Oliver’s help in finding and reuniting our Legends. Next week, the Justice Society of America will make its grand entrance, but I'm getting ahead of myself. Check out the new clip:
After the defeat of the immortal villain Vandal Savage and the exposure of the corrupt Time Masters, a new threat emerges. Dr. Nate Heywood (Nick Zano), an unconventional and charming historian, is thrust into the action. After making a shocking discovery, Nate seeks out Oliver Queen (guest star Stephen Amell) for help in finding the scattered Legends. Once reunited, the Legends continue their new mission to protect the timeline from temporal aberrations - unusual changes to history that spawn potentially catastrophic consequences. Their first stop is 1942 to protect Albert Einstein from being kidnapped before the Nazis destroy New York City with a nuclear bomb. Meanwhile, Ray (Brandon Routh) notices that Sara (Caity Lotz) has a mission of her own, which leads them both to face her nemesis, Damien Darhk (guest star Neal McDonough).
DC’s Legends of Tomorrow will air tomorrow (Oct. 13) on The CW.
