Here's the official synopsis:

Announcing the release of The Darkest Dawn, the sequel to cult hit Hungerford on 31st October 2016. Directed by award winning director Drew Casson (Hungerford) and produced by Jesse Cleverly (Hungerford) and Miles Bullough (A Matter of Loaf & Death), The Darkest Dawn introduces YouTube stars Bethan Leanly and Cherry Wallis as two teenage sisters fighting to survive an alien apocalypse in the UK.

The Darkest Dawn is the first film to release under Wildseed Movies, whose slate will be financed with the support of Pinewood Studios. Capitalising on the digital revolution in production and direct to fan distribution technology, Wildseed Movies will produce and distribute ‘micro buster’ genre feature films for global digital audiences.

Seamlessly weaving in aspects of found-footage posers, intimate survival horror, video game walk-throughs and elaborate extraterrestrial set pieces usually reserved for huge Hollywood tentpoles, The Darkest Dawn could be a sleeper indie hit this fall in the lull before Doctor Strange and Rogue One engulf the marketplace.

Starring Bethan Leanly and Cherry Wallis, The Darkest Dawn invades theaters Oct. 31.
