Image of the Day: Bizarre never-used Back to The Future poster

Robert Zemeckis' Back to the Future celebrated its 30th anniversary last year, and one of the odd items that surfaced in the festivities was this rare concept one-sheet unearthed by a former employee of Lonsdale Advertising in England.  The style and tone of this advertising art are far from the iconic Drew Struzan image of Marty stepping out of the time-tripping DeLorean, with this one substituting the sleek stainless steel sports car for a composition highlighting the '50s-era twist with Marty's younger parents at the high school dance.

Ewbank's Auctions will feature this strange slice of Back to the Future history in its upcoming movie poster auctions in February 2016, with a pre-auction estimate of $300-$600 for the rare rolled variant.
