White Canary and Captain Cold start a bar brawl in first clip from Legends of Tomorrow

"I love the 70s." Hot on the heels of the final trailer for DC’s Legends of Tomorrow, The CW has unleashed the first clip for the upcoming superhero TV series.

In the clip, Sara Lance, aka White Canary, finds herself in a 1970s bar (it's a timey-wimey show), with Leonard Snart (Wentworth Miller), aka Captain Cold, and Mick Rory (Dominic Purcell), aka Heat Wave, tagging along.

The guys are simply minding their own business, sipping beers as Sara shows off her groovy dance moves when she’s suddenly approached by a “gentleman.” When she refuses to spend some quality alone time with him (‘cause she prefers the dude’s girlfriend and said dude is quite rude), all hell breaks loose. It's a nice bit of action, but more than anything, it's a blast to see these characters thrown together in this situation.

Check it out:

When heroes alone are not enough… the world needs legends. Having seen the future, one he will desperately try to prevent from happening, time-traveling rogue Rip Hunter is tasked with assembling a disparate group of both heroes and villains to confront an unstoppable threat — one in which not only is the planet at stake, but all of time itself. Can this ragtag team defeat an immortal threat unlike anything they have ever known?

DC’s Legends of Tomorrow will premiere on Jan. 21 on The CW. Are you looking forward to the new series?
