Is this how Marvel’s heroes will be divided in Captain America: Civil War?

The upcoming Captain America flick Civil War is set to cut a divide right in the middle of Marvel’s superhero roster, and a new report claims to know which heroes end up on which sides.

Heroic Hollywood is reporting a new roster that allegedly shows who the various heroes will side with in what many fans are calling Avengers: 2.5. It looks like a logical mix, for the most part, though there are a few characters who come down on sides that might seem like a bit of a surprise. There's also a shakeup or two from the comic canon, which isn't much of a surprise, considering the differences in the MCU. Here’s the alleged breakdown:

Team Captain America: Hawkeye, Falcon, Scarlet Witch, Ant-Man and The Winter Soldier.

Team Iron Man: The Vision, Spider-Man, Black Widow and War Machine.

Toe-to-toe, it looks like a reasonable split. Iron Man has a bit more firepower with The Vision on the bench, though Cap has the edge in overall numbers (not to mention Scarlet Witch’s trippy power set). One of the bigger surprises? Apparently longtime partners Black Widow and Hawkeye come down on different sides of this fight, meaning the former S.H.I.E.L.D. agents will have some ideological differences here.

Also of note: Chadwick Boseman’s Black Panther isn’t include on either list, which fits with previous reports that he’d provide the neutral perspective in this super faceoff. Could his role (whatever it may be?) be the deciding factor here? Regardless — this is one heck of a loaded movie.

What’s your take on the team splits? Any surprises?
