We know a few things about the new season of The CW’s Arrow, but we didn’t know where Oliver (Stephen Amell) and the gang would be setting up shop. Now we have our first look at the new Arrow Lair — and it seems the crime-fighters will be enjoying a major upgrade.
Entertainment Weekly has debuted a new photo (above) of what the writers are calling the Arrow Bunker. Producer Marc Guggenheim offered up some details about the new-look base, which includes a sports car, conference table and additional holding spots for suits (since the team keeps getting bigger). The one thing he wouldn’t reveal: where the bunker is actually located. So, yeah, there’s a mystery to carry into the fall.
Here’s what he had to say about the design elements:
“In designing the new lair, we had to think in terms of the much larger group that Oliver [Stephen Amell] has now surrounded himself with and how Team Arrow is a much bigger enterprise. One of the fun things about this lair is that as opposed to one big space, where everyone would congregate, it’s now a much larger space divided up into smaller spaces. There is an area for Felicity [Emily Bett Rickards] to work, there is an area for Oliver to work out, and there is a garage. There are many different places we’ll continue to discover over the course of the season that give you a sense that this thing is a bit bigger than we got used to in the first three years.”
Arrow returns Oct. 7 on The CW. What do you think of the new lair?
