Thor’s Jaimie Alexander is a human mystery box in SDCC trailer for NBC's Blindspot

A new trailer for the mystery thriller Blindspot has been released, and it’s all about Thor alum Jaimie Alexander and the secrets hidden on her body.

The new NBC series stars Alexander as a butt-kicking amnesiac covered in mysterious tattoos and Sullivan Stapleton (300: Rise of an Empire, Strike Back) as the FBI agent tasked with figuring out all her secrets. The pilot screened Wednesday night at San Diego Comic-Con to decent buzz, though it seems this one might live or die by the quality of the answers to all those burning questions.

For what it’s worth, the new trailer doesn’t disappoint. The new footage below focuses in on Alexander’s character, Jane Doe (get it?), and her diverse skill set (spoiler alert: She's awesome). The role seems like a perfect fit, allowing Alexander to branch out from her Sif role while still showing off the action chops she’s developed over the two Thor films (not to mention a few appearances on Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D.).

Here’s the official synopsis:

A vast international plot explodes when a beautiful Jane Doe is discovered naked in Times Square, completely covered in mysterious, intricate tattoos with no memory of who she is or how she got there. But there's one tattoo that is impossible to miss: the name of FBI agent Kurt Weller, emblazoned across her back. "Jane," Agent Weller and the rest of the FBI quickly realize that each mark on her body is a crime to solve, leading them closer to the truth about her identity and the mysteries to be revealed. From Executive Producer Greg Berlanti.
