Saturate yourself in Milky Way stars with this stunning Spitzer Space Telescope video

With NASA's New Horizons Spacecraft set to swing past Pluto early tomorrow morning, here's a stirring composite video of our Milky Way to get you in a nebulous sort of mood.

The Milky Way fly-through video was created using 400K images spliced together from the Spitzer Space Telescope, which was first launched back in 2003 as one of NASA's four space-based "Great Observatories," which also included the Hubble Space Telescope. YouTuber daveachuk assembled this sweeping experience by blending and manipulating a treasure of gigabytes and gigapixels originating from the Spitzer Space Telescope.

Take a long look and get lost in the luminosity of our vast universe..
