AMC is laying the groundwork for what they hope to be their next big hit. Shortly after announcing their return to Comic-Con, the network has released a clip from the upcoming Fear the Walking Dead. Unlike its predecessor, Fear doesn't take place in Atlanta. Instead, it shows the effects of the zombie outbreak on the West Coast --specifically, Los Angeles.
In the following clip, we meet one of the young survivors, called Nick (Frank Dillane). We watch as he narrowly escapes an unseen terror, which we assume is a walker. In true Walking Dead fashion, the scene is accompanied by a haunting score that swells with each second. Run, Nick! Run like you've never run before!
Fear the Walking Dead revolves around Travis (Cliff Curtis), a divorced teacher, and Madison (Kim Dickens), a high school guidance counselor. Dillane plays Madison's son, who has a troubled history with drugs, while Alycia Debnam-Carey stars as her ambitious daughter Alicia.
The series debuts in Aug.
