Robin takes center stage in first look at DC's new Son of Batman spinoff comic

Damian doesn't often get the measure of respect he deserves as the potential heir to the Wayne fortune and son of the Dark Knight, but his vigilante star is rising.  Check out this 5-page peek with covers for Robin: Son of Batman #1, with story and art by Patrick Gleason (Damian: Son of Batman) and variant cover by Robbi Rodriguez, taking Bruce Wayne's defiant son on a solo odyssey outside the confines of Gotham City to rescue his giant man-bat companion, Goliath, from the Middle Eastern kingdom of Bialya and its elder tyrant, Abush.  With Bruce Wayne assumed dead and Jim Gordon cavorting around town in the new armored Batsuit, this is the perfect time for the hot-headed Damian to strike out on his own and test his the limits of his superhero legacy.
