This fan-made LEGO Doctor Who game video makes us long for a timeline in which we could play it

While we all know Doctor Who will be making his LEGO videogame debut in LEGO Dimensions later this year (in September), one fan has decided that he couldn’t wait until the game’s release to see what timey-wimey adventures the Doctor will be up to. Geronimo!

YouTuber BlobVanDam (who also made the emotional "Time of the Doctor" regeneration scene in LEGO) has come up with his own scenario, pitching Matt Smith’s Eleven against those pesky Cybermen while being accompanied by his new faithful companion, Handles. Which means the Doctor is probably on one of the many alien spaceships orbiting Trenzalore in the Xmas special "The Time of the Doctor."

The clever gameplay looks a lot like a real LEGO Doctor Who videogame. BlobVanDam included the Doctor’s sonic screwdriver (which normally doesn’t do wood, but it doesn’t do silver LEGO objects, here, either), which he can use to open doors, break objects and battle his Cybermen foes.

While I know the first video hit the web about a month ago, video number two is only a few days old, and I thought it was way too brilliant not to share the whole thing with you. In the second gameplay video, we find a, erm, nekkid Doctor inside his TARDIS with his companion Clara, and the whole thing involves ... a turkey. Have a look:
