Despite all the leaks, David Ayer promises Suicide Squad is still full of surprises

We’ve spent the past few weeks enjoying a ton of leaked set pics and videos from David Ayer’s new DC flick Suicide Squad, but don’t worry: We’ve apparently only scratched the surface of this antihero extravaganza.

After a ton of exterior shooting led to pretty much every bit of footage being spotted and geeked out over, Ayer has taken to Twitter to assure fans there’s a whole lot more stuff we haven’t seen. The leaked footage doesn’t really give much away storywise, though we can reasonably assume the film will feature a Batmobile chase of the Joker, Harley Quinn (Margot Robbie) rocking a motorcycle, and at least some type of appearance from Ben Affleck’s Batman.

Much like the version featured in The CW’s Arrow, the big-screen Suicide Squad will focus on a team of mid-tier (and top-tier) supervillains thrown together to take on a massive threat of some kind. This version will feature the Joker (Jared Leto), Deadshot (Will Smith), Captain Boomerang (Jai Courtney), Killer Croc (Adewale Akinnuoye-Agbaje) and Rick Flagg (Joel Kinnaman). As for the plot? Yeah, that’s one of those things Ayer has kept under wraps.

Suicide Squad opens Aug. 5, 2016. Do you think it'll live up to the hype?
