Watch the dinosaurs unleash their fury in first Jurassic World TV spot

There’s nothing more fun than seeing dinosaurs about to chomp down on people. All right, we’re kidding. Or are we? In any case, just check out the first new explosive Jurassic World TV spot released by Universal Pictures over the weekend to see what's happening.

I don't know about you, but I really can't wait to see Chris Pratt (Guardians of the Galaxy) as a badass velociraptor-whisperer - dude is truly becoming a full-fledged action hero. Can we have him as the next Indiana Jones, please? I should also point out that Jurassic World also stars Bryce Dallas Howard, Ty Simpkins, Nick Robinson, Irrfan Khan, Vincent D’Onofrio, Jake Johnson, Omar Sy, Judy Greer and a returning BD Wong. Have a look at the brand-new TV spot:

Directed by Colin Trevorrow — who co-wrote the script with Derek Connolly — Jurassic World sees Steven Spielberg returning to the beloved and long-running franchise in the executive-producer chair. Here’s the gist of the story:

Twenty-two years after the events of Jurassic Park (1993), Isla Nublar now features a fully functioning dinosaur theme park, Jurassic World, as originally envisioned by John Hammond. After 10 years of operation and visitor rates declining, in order to fulfill a corporate mandate, a new attraction is created to re-spark visitor's interest, which backfires horribly.

The park will open on June 12. Are you looking forward to returning to Isla Nublar in Jurassic World?
