Scarecrow has plans for Gotham in new trailer for Batman: Arkham Knight

Batman: Arkham Knight is the upcoming videogame from Rocksteady Games that puts you in the driver's seat of the Batmobile to defend Gotham against its many, many enemies. As we see in this new trailer, which includes Poison Ivy, Harley Quinn, the Riddler, Scarecrow and the enigmatic Arkham Knight, Batman will have a lot of bat-smacking to do.

Although Scarecrow is the boss of this trailer, we know that Batman eventually battles the Arkham Knight. Not familiar with him? He first appeared at the end of Batman: Arkham City and is a new enemy for the caped crusader created specifically for the game series by DC talents Geoff Johns and Jim Lee. And it's up to the world's greatest detective to stop him from (insert currently unknown, yet obviously nefarious, plot here).

Rocksteady calls Knight "the epic conclusion to the Rocksteady Batman: Arkham Trilogy," which contains two previous installments: Batman: Arkham Asylum and City. However, Rocksteady fails to acknowledge prequel Batman: Arkham Origins, which was produced by Warner Bros. Games Montreal.

Batman: Arkham Knight will be released on June 2, 2015. It'll be great to have Batman back in the driver's seat knowing that Rocksteady has built the engine.
