Mark Hamill’s Trickster is a bomb-gifting Santa in latest Flash clip

We’re still reeling from the crossover insanity of last week, but don’t worry, The CW’s Flash looks to close out 2015 with a bang. Literally.

The network has dropped some fresh footage from tonight’s midseason finale, which features the eagerly anticipated return of Mark Hamill’s Trickster (less than two weeks before he returns to the big screen in The Force Awakens) to Central City. The Trickster is embracing his inner Santa Claus, but instead of giving out toy trains or baby dolls, he’s been giving out bombs. Uh-oh.

After all the attention the show has been putting on the crossover with Arrow, and prep work to spin off Legends of Tomorrow, it’s nice to see Flash putting the focus back on its own business. With its rogues gallery ramping back up, and the addition of Wally West to the cast tonight (read our interview with star Keiynan Lonsdale right here),  Flash seems to be diving right back into all the fun stuff that made it such a breakout hit in the first place.

The network has also dropped an extended trailer for the midseason finale. Check it out here:
