AMC unleashes the first intense midseason premiere trailer for The Walking Dead

“I thought, living behind these walls was possible. I was wrong.” – Rick Grimes. AMC has released the first trailer for the second half of Season 6 of The Walking Dead.

We still have a few weeks to wait until the return of the zombie drama, but AMC has decided there’s no day like today to whet everyone’s appetite for brains their hit series with this midseason premiere trailer.

The new promo reveals some exciting edge-of-your-seat footage from the first episode back which sees the town of Alexandria under siege from part of that massive horde of walkers our survivors have been trying to get rid of since the Season 6 premiere.

How will Rick (Andrew Lincoln), Michonne (Danai Gurira), Carl (Chandler Riggs) and the rest of the Alexandria denizens get out of this deadly predicament alive? How will Daryl (Norman Reedus), Abraham (Michael Cudlitz) and Sasha (Sonequa Martin-Green) escape the clutches of Negan’s (Jeffrey Dean Morgan) Saviors? Will Glenn (Steven Yeun) finally make his way to Maggie (Lauren Cohan)?
