Batman has gone missing in new Batman: Bad Blood promo clip

Warner Bros. has unveiled a new promo clip for Batman: Bad Blood, as well as revealing the premiere dates for the upcoming animated movie.

First things first. The clip features Nightwing, voiced by Firefly’s Sean Maher, as he and Alfred (James Garrett) discuss the consequences of Bruce Wayne/Batman’s (Jason O’Mara) unexpected and prolonged absence from Gotham City. Which, as you guys can imagine, is a huge problem. You know the sayin': When the bat's away, the villains will play.

Featuring the arrival of Batwoman (Chuck’s Yvonne Strahovski) and Batwing (Gaius Charles), Batman: Bad Blood also stars Gotham (and Firefly) alum Morena Baccarin as Talia al Ghul. Check out the new clip:

Here's a synopsis of the upcoming animated film:

When Batman goes missing, it will take the entire Bat “family” – including new additions Batwoman and Batwing – to keep the peace in Gotham City and unravel the mystery behind the Dark Knight’s disappearance in Batman: Bad Blood.

The movie's premiere will first take place in the Big Apple at the Paley Center for Media in NYC on Jan. 19, 2016, with a Los Angeles premiere on Feb. 1, 2016. Both events will be attended by the film's cast and filmmakers.

Batman: Bad Blood will be released on Blu-ray and DVD on Feb. 2.
